Trial Membership

If you wish to continue with your pilot training you must become a member of Ulster Gliding Club.  You may opt for a three-month temporary trial membership (view costs) to check it out before you commit to full membership. During this time you will be able to take as many training flights as possible at members’ rates and have full use of the Centre.  It is a good opportunity to see how the Centre is run and you can learn what being a club member is all about – learn how gliders are readied for flight, how to hook them on for flight, how to run a wing etc.

There is a one-off charge for Temporary Membership (view costs).  Please note that some vouchers which were purchased prior to Oct. 2021 include a 3-month trial membership at no extra cost as a special offer.

You will be asked to complete a Temporary Membership Application form which includes a medical declaration which must be signed by you or where required by your parent or guardian. (You can find more information here).
